As Macaulay embarks on this new chapter, we are very excited for the future under Charles’ leadership. I would also like to thank Debra D. Kerby for her exceptional leadership as our Interim CEO during this leadership transition period, ensuring we continued to fulfill our commitments to our stakeholders, staff, volunteers and most importantly, the children and families we serve.

We're pleased to share the 2023 Annual Report for Macaulay Centres for Children (Macaulay). This report highlights Macaulay's achievements in empowering kids and families in Toronto to reach their full potential and thrive. In 2023, we opened 7 new child care centres and provided essential support to over 5,000 children and their families through programs like coding and after-school support. We also offered specialized services to over 2,500 children with extra support needs. We are grateful to be a United Way member agency and for the support received from all three levels of government, as well as contributions from corporations, private foundations and individuals which enables us to meet our most pressing needs.
