You want to share your story on a bigger stage. We have the skills and connections to get you there.

About us

How would your life change if you were the go-to subject matter expert in your field? Would you attract more business? Would you attract better business? Could you change your industry for the better? Whatever your motivation, establishing yourself as the key subject matter expert in your field lies in your thought leadership. Yet this is where so many high-achieving professionals fall flat. They undermine their expertise. They dismiss their authority. They bury their knowledge under sales speak, thinking you have to keep everything "behind the paywall". I have the opposite approach. Using my signature Full-Circle Media Strategy you can create valuable thought leadership that establishes you as a leader in your field AND grows your business. The  Full-Circle Media Strategy emphasizes being the expert on all media platforms. Start with social media. The right content can lead to bigger stages, such as TV and speaking engagements. Then leverage these opportunities to grow your business and create more thought leadership. What you get is a self-sustaining content wheel that is constantly creating value for you, your followers, and your business. Which begs the question: are you ready to change your life?

When it comes to capturing and holding attention, following a play book is just the beginning. You need content people can sink their teeth into (no pun intended). Read our thoughts on the Nutter Butter TikTok and how you can become part of the conversation.

We need to talk about the Nutter Butter TikTok. It is a master class in whisper marketing in the digital age. I heard about the Nutter Butter TikTok, and how bizarre it is, twice before I bothered to investigate. One message suggested "this is why Gen-Z shouldn't be in charge of a corporate social media account". The other message simply said "I checked out their TikTok and I am not ok". Naturally I had to see for myself. And I am very OK! First, this campaign is not an example of "the kids are ruining social media for the olds". Yes, the imagery is not what you would expect from a corporate account. No, it is not done by amateurs. The feed checks all the boxes media experts, myself included, preach constantly about building a successful brand. It's consistent in tone and messaging. It speaks directly to its community. The imagery is playful. It reminds me of being in high school, taking the family camcorder and making movies with my theatre friends. We had no idea what we were doing. We didn't know how to craft a scene, let alone direct ourselves. We simply played with this new toy and made stuff that made us laugh. It's the same with the Nutter Butter TikTok. I don't get the references. Who is Aidan? Am I supposed to know this? Do I need to? The fact that I'm asking is creating value for the brand in my mind. Which is exactly the point of having an online presence. Nutter Butter is a legacy brand. It was introduced in 1969. Could I describe an iconic ad or tagline? No. Have I ever eaten a Nutter Butter? Also no. This 55-year-old chocolate bar has not been a significant part of popular culture for years. And yet it's a major conversation today, a month before Halloween. Coincidence? Or brilliant? #content #marketing #socialmedia #media #mediacoach https://lnkd.in/gD5K89w3

Our three-second pitch is "we get you on TV". For many business owners and founders, how we do that is not as direct as they want it to be. Media is not looking for products and businesses. They're looking for information. We help business owners and founders amplify the expertise behind their brand. Lucky for us, Julie Bednarski, MHSc, PHEc, RD's expertise so clearly fuels her business. Here she is on CTV Morning Live Ottawa sharing how to read labels on so-called healthy food for kids. #media #tv #pr https://lnkd.in/eVwqgWx

Here's Hina Khan's take on the work-life balance myth, which she shared on Breakfast Television. Key takeaways: ⚖ Work-life balance is a myth because it puts two things that are not opposite at polar opposites. Work is a part of life and life is a part of work ⚖ It's better to consider the season you are in and how your priorities reflect that. Do you have young children who need a lot of your attention? Or do you have more autonomy over how you spend your time? ⚖ Often the imbalance comes from comparing yourself to others. You may love your work and feel deep satisfaction talking about it in off-hours. If this is the case, don't judge yourself if others feel differently. What is keeping you on the sidelines? Today Hina Khan spoke about motivation on Breakfast Television, where she shared how waiting for that spark can be the very thing that's holding you back. Key takeaways: ✨ Be aware of when you're taking passive action, not massive action. You can research an idea or new skill for months or even years. But until you take action you won't actually know what the idea is or what the skill is like. ✨ Put fear in its place. Often we don't take action because we're afraid of failure, or of other people's judgements. But are you really failing if you try something new and it's not perfect the first time? Or are you discovering what you need to improve on? ✨ Decision feeds creativity. Indecision feeds fear. What do you want to feed? #clientlove #media #pr #tv https://lnkd.in/gWsqMa3P

I believe everyone has a story worth sharing, and there are some people where when I meet them I think "this person HAS to be on TV". It's not about their look or how they speak (although those help). It's about how strongly connected they are to the story they want to share. When I met Joy Asibey-Gabriel, she was introduced to me as a style expert. She immediately corrected that to be "feminine adornment coach" and explained what that means. She works with people to find their inner style. To connect with clothing as a form of self-expression and self-care. It was this nuance that attracted me to her message. Anyone can be a fashion expert. Anyone can be a money expert. But what about your specific values and take on this topic sets you apart? This is what we explore in our Full-Circle Media Coaching. It's about defining your specific expertise so you can attract your ideal business and leverage this for better media: https://lnkd.in/gnEhAdGn

The idea to build a coaching program that uses social media as a training tool began soon after I launched my first group coaching program. Some attendees, like Morgan Davidson, were ready to go right away because they perfected their expertise on social media. Morgan tried out how it felt being a skincare expert versus a makeup expert on her own platforms before we started pitching her to TV. By the time pitches went out, she knew exactly who she was and what she offered. This meant her pitches were clear, focused, and ready for air! With the Full-Circle Coaching program, you explore your expertise and fine-tune it with the guidance of an award-winning producer. Skip the guesswork and establish your expertise on your own terms before taking it to TV. https://lnkd.in/gEYMxzC8

Here's another thing you may not know - Hina Khan is a client of mine AND I'm a client of hers. My producing and coaching skills are on a higher level because of what I've learned from her. It's not easy to create something that only exists in your mind. It requires mental resilience, and often blind faith. A great deal of the Full-Circle Media Coaching program builds these muscles. When you're sharing your specialized knowledge and expertise, you're sharing a vulnerable part of yourself. It can be scary, especially if it seems like the content isn't connecting. This coaching program provides a safe space to explore your idea, share new aspects of your expertise, and build a strong self-image that can handle any stage. I learned from the best! https://lnkd.in/gnEhAdGn

Fun fact - Kelley Keehn was the very first client for McEwen Media. I was her producer for years on The Marilyn Denis Show and when she learned I was becoming a media consultant she said "I would hire you to work on my segments again". She said this three times before I said "Oh, you mean for real?" It never occurred to me that I could work as a producer and not be a full-time employee of a network or production company. Now, I produce all content from the pov of a journalist and television producer. I create more impactful content faster and with ease. This is the basis of the Full-Circle Media Strategy. Forget everything you think you know about sharing thought leadership. Producing expertise is far more effective. https://lnkd.in/gnEhAdGn
