We congratulate our innovation partner MEDATECH Engineering Services Ltd. on the introduction of the RodBot™ hydraulic robotic handler that eliminates manual rod and casing handling. RodBot is a rod-handling solution that saves time and is 100% hands-free. Since 2021, Major Drilling and MEDATech have collaborated to combine Major Drilling's practical knowledge of drilling and drill safety with MEDATech's ingenuity and ease of the RodBot controls. We provided significant guidance on the development of the RodBot’s grapple by implementing the Major Drilling #TrailBlazerSafeGrip (close-up photo), while MEDATech refined everything from the machine’s fine motor control to its software.
