About us
Merrymount Family Support & Crisis Centre exists to help children and families stay whole as they navigate through and beyond crisis. Merrymount’s safe, supportive and strength-based intervention and care builds stronger families who stay together, and kids that have the support they need to grow up strong, form healthy relationships, and know they are valued and loved. Merrymount has been providing these programs and services to London’s families and children since 1874, and is the only centre of its kind in Canada.

Many of our staff wore orange today for #OrangeShirtDay Orange Shirt Day is an Indigenous-led grassroots commemorative day intended to raise awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of residential schools, and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters”. The orange shirt is a symbol of the stripping away of culture, freedom and self-esteem experienced by Indigenous children over generations.
