On the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we had the honour of speaking at PepsiCo Canada’s headquarters in Mississauga. We shared the impactful work of Mikinakoos Children's Fund, and our board member, Jessica, spoke on the history and significance of this important day. This event concluded with packing 300 backpacks filled with school supplies to support the youth in Fort Hope First Nation after the devastating loss of their school in a fire. Miigwech to PepsiCo for organizing this fundraiser and for your continued efforts towards Truth & Reconciliation! #OrangeShirtDay #TruthAndReconciliation

We recently supported two youth volleyball teams in a tournament by providing funds for registration fees and new jerseys. You know what they say... "Look good, feel good, play good" Our support goes beyond monetary donations, sports equipment and clothing; it's about the positive impact that follows. CHI-MIIGWECH to Bailey Symington for donating her winning tickets for two round-trip flights with Northstar Air to Mikinakoos! Transportation and shipping are some of our highest costs, and this generous gift will help us significantly. These tickets can assist with transporting community members to tournaments or even allow us to send fresh food on a flight.
