Where does restaurant spending fall on your priority list? It's not very high up mine, and it is more common for us to go out to eat when we're with friends or travelling! Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX

Focusing on going slow has been so good for my busy ADHD brain! It seems to always be racing, so time to myself, where I slow down, whether that's reading, meditating or anything else, has been beneficial for my busy brain! How could slowing down a bit help your overall mental and physical health? And how could making time to take care of your money help you have more time to go slow?

Val loves thrifting now, but that wasn't always the case! When you focus on what is important, it can feel easy to make big shifts in your spending. This week on the podcast you'll hear about different things that Val and Sherry spend very little, or no money on. What is something you don't have a spot for in your spending? #adhdpodcast Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX

There's a new episode of the Mind + Money Podcast out! Val and I talk about the things we don't spend a lot of money on. Subscriptions is one thing I'm really intentional with and while it's not making us rich, it does mean we don't have money going out the door each month for things we aren't using! https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX #ADHDandMoney

It sounds cheesy AF, but we find what we are looking for! ♥️ Taking a few minutes each day to pause and focus on what you are grateful for will have a huge impact on your life! Mande and I discuss this and a lot more on the Learn to Thrive with ADHD podcast episode, which is out this week! @learntothrivewithadhd https://buff.ly/3Tn0Po6 https://buff.ly/3XBE9mt

No fun club calling! 😆 The truth is, I just don't want to feel like 💩 and there are so many other things I'd rather spend my money on! Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX

Sometimes quality rules over price but... in a society where we tend to buy a new one instead of fixing something, taking time to take care of things can be a huge budget saver! Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX

While FB memories usually make me cringe at the shit I used to share, I mean, did everyone really need to know about what I was doing all the time??!! But then some like this really have me reflecting on how far we've come. ♥️ - 14 years ago, I was obviously dreaming about a cottage on the water - 7 years ago, I got fired from a job where I made good money and I thought was safe - Days after getting fired I rolled up my sleeves and learned everything I could about money so we wouldn't dig ourselves a big hole - 6 years ago, learning everything I did to transform our finances led to me launching my financial coaching business! - 3 years ago, we bought our cottage that is right on Lake Erie! 🥳 - less than a week after we took possession, the lake welcomed us by causing a decent amount of destruction to our property (but if you weren't around when that happened, it's a story for another day) The point I'm trying to make is that we really don't know what we are capable of with our money (or lives as a whole) until we really jump in. Sometimes, life gives us no choice but to jump in, but other times, we jump in because we are ready for big changes! ♥️ My parting question to you is, are you ready for big money changes?

Call me a hypocrite! 😆 Clothing isn't something that I spend a lot on, but what can I say, I couldn't resist this buttery soft hoodie (and matching sweatpants)! #ADHDImpulseShopping Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX

We LOVE coffee, but that doesn't mean we spend a lot of $ on it! Coffee out at a nice little coffee shop is lovely, and when we meet someone, it's perfect! But for most days, it's coffee at home for both of us! Besides, who doesn't love coffee sans pants at home! 😆 #adhdandmoney #adhdspending Check out full episodes of the Mind Money Podcast, a podcast all about ADHD and money: https://lnkd.in/gjRTr-QX
