  • As we head into the Heritage Day long weekend, make sure you come prepared for all your outdoor adventures! Here are some summer safety staples to keep your family well: 🌞 Pack a broad-spectrum sunscreen, which protects from both UVA and UVB rays. You can learn more about sun protection factor (SPF) at MyHealth.Alberta.ca: https://bit.ly/4fiABMQ 🚣 Don’t forget life jackets and other swimming aids. Teach your kids about water safety rules and about currents in lakes, rivers, and oceans in advance of any trips. 💧 Bring a backpack or cooler stocked with water bottles to make sure everyone stays hydrated. 🔥 If air quality is low due to wildfire smoke, choose indoor options instead. Explore a recreation facility in your area or indoor playground. #ABHealth #PrimaryCareNetwork #HeritageDay #StayWell
