Do you understand the important role dealers play in providing mobility products to the disabled community? 🤔 Without dealers, we would not be able to continue producing wheelchairs. The dealers work tirelessly to continue supplying the disabled community with the mobility products they need, the extra-long hours they work, and how diligently they continue helping their communities. CRT Awareness is important, and we need to continue to educate the legislators so that the hard work of the dealers is not in vain, and the right equipment can get to the people who need it. Complex Rehab Technology allows people with disabilities all around the world to do more with their energy, reduce pain and spasms, and live more independently. 🙌 With this in mind, we asked our colleague Christie Hamstra, PT, MSPT, DPT, ATP, who is also a part of the Clinician’s Task Force, to tell us why CRT Awareness is important for her as a clinician. “The therapist plays a crucial role in evaluating and justifying the need for customized equipment for our clients. Clinicians who fully embrace this responsibility often achieve clinical distinction through specialized training and certifications. However, productivity pressures in many clinical settings can deter new clinicians from entering this field.
