MPE a division of Englobe is proud to partner with Stantec for the Westside Irrigation Rehabilitation Project (WIRP). This joint venture, known as Prairie Engineering Partners, will collaborate on the fieldwork, planning and engineering required for overseeing 90,000 acres of irrigation. We are also honored to collaborate with Scott Land & Lease Ltd. and AgriEarth Consulting Ltd. to help achieve this project work. Since 2020, the Government of Saskatchewan has developed 58,000+ acres of irrigated land, the largest growth since the 1980s, and is on track to exceed the 85,000-acre goal for 2030. https://lnkd.in/gr6gb8MF

Last Friday, staff from MPE a division of Englobe embarked on a journey aboard the LifeBus to donate blood at the Canadian Blood Services location at Penn West Plaza in Calgary. As usual, the process was seamless and CBS staff were very accommodating and welcoming to our first-time donors. With the donations, MPE has met their annual "Partners for Life" pledge to Canadian Blood Services, as well as reaching their goal for the annual Charity Challenge organized by Calgary Corporate Challenge. This Charity Challenge encourages companies participating in the September Games to give awareness to, and give back to select local charities. Since 2006, the Charity Challenge has generated over $8.3 million, and we are very proud to maintain our commitment to support this important cause! The Consulting Engineers of Alberta hosted its prestigious Showcase Awards gala in Edmonton last week, and our team was honoured to have projects represented recognizing our diverse engineering capabilities. April 11 marked National Poutine Day – a day to celebrate Canada’s most famous (and most indulgent!) culinary contribution to the world. In honour of this special day, MPE a division of Englobe’s Lethbridge Municipal Infrastructure Group hosted a “Poutine Buffet” for their office of 100+ people. Those in attendance enjoyed a buffet-style poutine feast that included a variety of meat, cheese and other toppings, while taking in the sunshine on the patio 😎. The event wouldn’t be complete without some friendly competition, so bragging rights were handed out to the winners of the Fastest-Finisher, Guess-the-Fries and Guess-the-Gravy challenges! Special shout out to McCain Foods – one of MPE’s valued clients – for generously donating all the delicious fries required! MPE a division of Englobe would like to recognize a significant achievement by our Building Services group for the team’s outstanding work on Alberta Infrastructure’s Red Deer Recovery Community—a fully modular 75-bed addiction treatment facility; currently operational. This project was recently honoured at the prestigious World of Modular Conference, the largest event of its kind in North America. In partnership with MPE, ROC Modular submitted the project which claimed two major awards: - First Place for Permanent Modular Building in Health Care - Judges' Choice Award - the highest-scoring project among the 161 submissions This project distinguished itself through its innovative and practical approach, utilizing off-site modular construction that resulted in time efficiency, improved quality control, and reduced construction waste compared to conventional building methods. Congratulations to the entire project team, as well as those involved in other significant projects across our regions, for their collective commitment to excellence! Every member of our team plays a vital role in MPE’s achievements, and it is our combined commitment to delivering high-quality work that truly sets us apart and drives our success. MPE, a division of Englobe, was proud to sponsor the Town of Diamond Valley’s annual holiday events – Light-Up Diamond Valley and New Year’s Eve Celebration! During the Light-Up Diamond Valley event, many local businesses opened their doors to welcome residents of all ages with treats, surprises and a special holiday shopping experience. Everyone was welcome to join in the festivities, and to connect with neighbours and friends as they perused the attractions. The downtown area was adorned with festive lights, and fire pits and hot chocolate ensured everyone stayed warm! The New Year's Eve Celebration is always a highlight for the Town's residents – many enjoyed hay wagon rides, ice skating, face painting and an impressive fireworks display capped off the evening while counting down to midnight. Movember is the leading global charity changing the face of men’s health. For over 20 years, this organization has funded over 1,300 men’s health projects around the world including mental health and suicide prevention, as well as research and resources that support men with prostate and testicular cancer. MPE a division of Englobe has been a very proud participant in supporting Movember over the past number of years, holding **friendly** ☺ inter-office competitions during the month of November to help raise funds for this incredibly important cause. This year, we are very happy to report that our combined office staff collectively raised over $9,000. Adding to that was an MPE corporate donation of $5,000 which brought our final 2023 Movember donation to just over $14,000! Raising these life-saving funds and bringing further awareness to men’s health issues is something that we are very proud to support - one 'stache at a time!

MPE a division of Englobe was honored to take part in the BC Water & Waste Association annual SCADA & IT Conference and Trade Show held in New Westminster, BC this past week. The event brought together water professionals who operate and work with SCADA systems and technologies to convene on the foundations, applications and transformations of this important sector.
