The BC real estate course requires you to remember many definitions, particularly in the law chapters. Here are a couple of my favourite tips for recalling complex information. Acronyms: If you need to memorize a list of things, think of a single word in which each of the first letters is associated with an important piece of information. You can also turn this into a simple sentence with the first letter of each word. Picture Association: Tie down this acronym in your memory bank with associated visuals. They might be silly, but make them specific! Sign up for my email newsletter for monthly study tips straight to your inbox: https://bit.ly/3SwNacQ #BCRealEstate #Realtors #RealEstateSchool

In BC, we have two sources of law—Common Law and Statute Law. It's important to have a clear understanding of this structure when you're studying to write the BC real estate exam. We'll start by learning about how Common Law came to be, and how Law of Equity came into play. My free Mini-Course includes this complete video covering Law Chapter 1.
