What an amazing NACCA AGM held in Iqaluit… let me correct that… in the BEAUTIFUL region and City of Iqaluit. Thank you to the amazing leadership and staff at NACCA for ensuring the success and support of the IFI’s around the country. The prosperity of indigenous communities that is led by entrepreneurs, changes more than the lives of the businesses owners, but that of future generations. Thank you to the board of Nunavik Investment Corporation for giving me the opportunity to participate.

✨ Reflecting on the IWE National Gathering ✨ We asked our IWE Program Manager, Magnolia Perron to recap the IWE Gathering held in Vancouver last week! Read her summary below and let us know what your favourite part was! "As the Manager of the Indigenous Women Entrepreneurship (IWE) Program at NACCA, I am profoundly moved by the incredible energy, strength, and authenticity shared at this year’s IWE National Gathering. Attendees spoke of an experience that was welcoming, empowering, uplifting, and unlike any other event they’ve attended. Each speaker and participant added their unique voice, weaving together a vibrant and dynamic network of experiences and aspirations. The connections made here go beyond networking—they are the seeds of future collaborations and the foundation of a powerful community. Here’s to the courage and resilience of Indigenous women entrepreneurs and to the transformative impact of our shared stories and support. 🌟" #IWEGathering #IndigenousWomen #Entrepreneurship #CommunityStrength #IndigenousProsperity #NACCA

The Canadian government mostly relied on an honour system when it awarded billions of dollars in contracts to enterprises identifying as Indigenous.
