In honor of World Mental Health Day, we recognize the tireless efforts of support workers who have been on the frontlines of numerous crises since last year - from the pandemic and rising intimate partner violence to opioid poisonings and the ongoing affordability crisis. Their unwavering dedication has been critical to supporting individuals and families during some of the most challenging times. In response to the growing mental health needs of young people, the Government of Canada recently announced a new Youth Mental Health Fund to improve access to services and resources. This initiative aims to address gaps in care and ensure young Canadians receive the support they need to thrive.
