Grateful to the dedicated ranchers, agricultural producers, and other grassland stewards who make conservation possible! Together, we’re working to ensure Canada’s grasslands remain healthy and thriving working landscapes. 🌾
Rancher/Professional Agrologist/Grassland Conservation Advocate ….grass is the forgiveness of nature, her constant benediction…..
I have a long history of #partnership with NCC and it has been a great journey so far. Not only has NCC been a great partner in building our #ranching #beef operation #CdnAg #SaskAg over the last 24 years, but we have also had the opportunity to connect with some great thinkers and conservationists in #Saskatchewan #treaty4territory and across #Canada . These connections have tremendous cumulative value to our lives and the ability to be a part of some really positive stories related to #grasslands . This is one of the most #encouraging presentations I've listened to in a long time, well done ! Congratulations, Megan Quinn! 🎉 We're so proud to see Megan, NCC's Coordinator, Conservation Biology in Eastern Ontario, recognized with the King Charles III Coronation Medal for their contributions to environmental stewardship and youth education. Their passion and dedication help inspire the next generation of conservation leaders through their work with NCC and partners like Earth Rangers. Thank you for your commitment to conservation! 💚
Not every day you get awarded a Government of Canada medal.. 🏅 The King Charles III Coronation Medal is awarded to those who "have made a significant contribution to Canada, or to a particular province, territory, region, or community of Canada." I was honoured to receive it for "exceptional contribution to Canada in the fields of environmental stewardship and youth education." A HUGE thank you to Earth Rangers for nominating me. Through our wildlife adoption kits, podcast episodes, social media clips, and school assemblies talking about my work with the Nature Conservancy of Canada/Conservation de la nature Canada , I'm so proud to be inspiring the next generation of conservation heroes. ❤️ I hope this is just the beginning of the great work we can do.
