  • North America's nuclear energy sector is being reignited. With ambitious energy goals and increasing demand for reliable baseload power, the region's commitment to nuclear expansion is clear. The U.S. nuclear fleet of 93 reactors, the world's largest, continues to evolve with new projects under development and existing plants receiving life extensions. With data centers projected to consume up to 12% of U.S. electricity by 2028, the demand for clean, reliable nuclear power has never been more critical. This is why the Rook I is critical - to support North America's clean energy future and technological advancements. • At NexGen we’re investing in the training and development of local community members to build the necessary skills for careers in mining and create a strong and thriving local workforce for the Rook I Project. More than 365 community members participated in NexGen initiated and funded education, training, and certification programs in 2024, and participation is growing in 2025 as we continue to work in partnership with local communities, industry and educational institutions. We’re proud to be funding five students from Clearwater River Dene Nation, Buffalo Narrows, and Buffalo River Dene Nation who have started their journey in the Plumbing Pipefitting Applied Certificate program at Northlands College. This is just the start and ourselves and our community partners are eagerly awaiting the next phase to enable these wonderful leaders a chance to put their skills into the workplace. Wishing these students success! #GoodEnergy #ThisIsNexGen

  • We had a great time hosting 14 Local Priority Area youth and their chaperones in Saskatoon, for three days of skills and mentorship sessions with the Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Club and the Saskatoon Blades Hockey Club staff and players. These young leaders were selected for their positive mindset and their contribution to school and community. Over the weekend, they experienced a behind the scenes look at professional sport, learned about goal setting and health and wellness, challenged their skills, and cheered on the Rush and the Blades at SaskTel Centre. Among the highlight was Asia Daongam-Lemaigre joining us again this year to perform the national anthem in both Dene and English at the Blades game! Special thanks to the Rush and the Blades for contributing to our youth mentorship initiatives, and working together with us to create an outstanding experience for everyone involved. These programs will expand materially upon the advancement of the Rook I Project, which all of our stakeholders can’t wait for! #ThisIsNexGen #PoweringPositivity #GoodEnergy

  • What an incredible two days with our 2025 Tour in Birch Narrows Dene Nation and Turnor Lake, and Buffalo River Dene Nation and Dillon. Together with more than 300 community members, we were pleased to host Canadian hockey legends Kirk McLean, 2-time Vezina Trophy finalist; Charline Labonté, 4-time Olympic gold medalist; and Canadian leader in youth hockey development Rod Brathwaite, for 2 inspiring days of mentorship, health and wellness and community connection. This program is one of the many that NexGen has developed and implemented over many years with the impacts felt throughout Saskatchewan. Congratulations to the more than 100 talented youth from the local communities who took to the ice over the 2 days with enthusiasm and focus. A sincere thank you to all the parents, teachers and community members who joined us to celebrate the power of mentorship through sport and community with some of Canada’s Hockey greats! #ThisIsNexGen #PoweringPositivity #2025LPATour

  • We’ve launched an expanded 43,000m exploration drill program at Patterson Corridor East (PCE), just 3.5 km from the world-class Arrow Deposit. With an increase of 9,000m from 2024, this will be one of the largest drill programs in the Athabasca Basin for 2025.   Highlights: ✔️ Initial findings reveal vein-type uranium mineralization, mirroring the Arrow Deposit’s geology. ✔️ Since discovery in 2024, PCE’s mineralized footprint has grown 600m along strike and 600m vertically. ✔️ 2024 drilling success: 19/30 holes intersected mineralization, 10 with high-grade uranium (>10,000 cps). ✔️ 2025 focus: Expanding the footprint, and targeting high-grade zones.   NexGen is committed to sustainable uranium exploration to support growing global demand for carbon-free nuclear energy. Together, we’re building a future fueled by innovation and responsibility.
