We’re thrilled to announce that we are working with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI), a collaborative consortium of the world’s leading immuno-oncology experts, to enhance understanding of immunotherapy responses. In one of the largest I/O proteomics biomarker discovery to date, all ~3,000 patient blood samples from PICI’s RADIOHEAD study will be profiled using our nELISA™ platform to identify predictive protein biomarkers to better understand treatment responses and improve patient outcomes. Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors (ICIs) have significantly improved survival rates for cancer patients, but they can also lead to life-threatening, immune-related adverse events. Previous efforts to predict these adverse events have been hindered by difficulties in analyzing a sufficient number of samples for robust biomarker discovery. We aim to change this by profiling hundreds of proteins in thousands of samples to identify markers that better identify at-risk patients. As the immuno-oncology field continues to evolve around ICIs, we are excited to support this important initiative.
