The Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association (NWOPA) proudly hosted the Prospectors Tent at the CEN-CAN Expo on September 11-12th, providing a valuable platform for prospectors, contractors, and junior exploration companies to showcase their projects and services. Held in Thunder Bay, the CEN-CAN Expo brought together members of the mining, energy, and construction industries, offering unparalleled networking opportunities and fostering cross-industry collaboration. The Prospectors Tent was a hub of activity, where attendees could explore innovative projects, connect with potential partners, and learn about emerging exploration opportunities. With over 300 exhibits, onsite demos, presentations on pressing industry topics, and a job fair, the CEN-CAN Expo proved to be a must-attend event for all sectors involved.
About us
The Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association (NWOPA) is dedicated to supporting prospectors and mineral explorationists in their claim staking, geological, exploration, and mining activities located within Northwestern Ontario. The Board of Directors is elected from across the Northwest; meetings are generally held in Thunder Bay, Ontario. NWOPA Objectives: To represent and further the interests, serve the needs, and support the aspirations of the individual prospectors in Northwestern Ontario.
