We are so proud to see American Steel and Aluminum being included the 50 employers participating in the US Navy project! A serious achievement showcasing the prowess of the company.
American Steel and Aluminum had the honor of participating in the US Navy’s inaugural National Signing Day for the New England Talent Pipeline Project (NE TPP). The NE TPP was developed in partnership between the Navy and the Submarine Industrial Base (SIB) with one focus in mind – drive the acquisition of premiere talent, continuously invest into and develop the SIB workforce, and retain a skilled talent to ensure stability for years to come. The event was held at the New England Aquarium and involved over 50 employers. Speakers from all over the United States, including ASA’s very own CCO Manny Molina, shared strategies on how the program has led to elevated employee talent, higher levels of performance, and stronger organizational culture. Thank you to the US Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and TMG, Inc for hosting this wonderful event and supplying the SIB with the infrastructure to build world-class teams. OUR GREEN VISION 🔅 We are proudly procuring North American Steel, while reducing the use of fossil fuels wherever we can. Many of our facilities have all taken on the challenge to reduce our carbon footprint per ton produced, and have invested in LED lighting and Automatic Ventilation Control Systems, reducing our use of electricity and energy.
