The Autumn season can get cold and busy, let's remember to support local charities that are making a difference in our communities. When the Guelph-Wellington Women In Crisis contacted us for an EMERGENCY Drive for personal care product donations, our teams sprang into action! In a few short weeks; our teams from coast to coast, donated, purchased and ordered products to help Women in Crisis. 🙌 Guelph-Wellington Women In Crisis provides a wide range of critical programs including: • 24-hour Crisis Line • Sexual Assault Centre (SAC) • Marianne’s Place (shelter) • Transitional and Housing Support Program (THSP) • Rural Women’s Support Program (RWSP) • Family Court Support Program (FCSP) • Anti-Human Trafficking Program (AHTP) • Public & Corporate Education for prevention and support There are no fees for any G-W Women in Crisis services. For the past 2 months, at NOW Health Group Canada/Puresource Natural Products Distributor, we’ve been diligently gathering donations for the Wyndham House Blanket Our Youth Drive. Wyndham House offers emergency shelter, housing, and support services to youth between 16-25. This 50+ year old non profit group has been an integral part of the local Guelph Wellington community and has successfully helped to REDUCE youth homelessness, but also identify critical support needed in other areas of the community. We’re fortunate to have a generous team at Puresource that have donated from coast to coast to this drive with; bedding, clothing, many household donations, digital $ donations & weekly 50/50 fundraising. Our Charity Committee has also provided an additional lump sum donation to the Wyndham House!! Wyndham House Inc. is currently running their Fall/ Holiday Bedding Drive.
