📢 NSERC and the NRC announce funding to advance the industrial readiness of quantum sensing technologies.   The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (#NSERC) and the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada (#NRC) are pleased to provide over $11 million in #funding to support six collaborative research projects on quantum sensing technologies.    This joint initiative aims to advance one of the National Quantum Strategy’s (NQS) missions: to enable the Government of Canada and key industries to be developers and early adopters of new quantum sensing technologies. Further, it effectively supports the NQS’ three pillars: research to develop better solutions, talent development to build a world-leading workforce, and commercialization to translate research into commercial outcomes.    The supported projects are dedicated to moving quantum sensing toward practical applications in important areas for Canada, such as the environment, healthcare, manufacturing, natural resources, navigation, safety and security.    For more information about the projects supported by this joint call for proposals, please read more ▶️ tinyurl.com/bdrdffm6 #IYQ2025 #NationalQuantumStrategy

📣 Le CRSNG et le CNRC annoncent l’octroi d’un financement pour faire progresser les technologies de détection quantique en vue d’applications industrielles.   Le Conseil de recherches en sciences naturelles et en génie du Canada (#CRSNG) et le National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada (#CNRC) sont fiers d’octroyer un financement de plus de 11 millions de dollars à l’appui de six projets de recherche concertée dans le domaine des technologies de détection quantique.    Cette initiative conjointe vise à faire progresser la mission suivante de la Stratégie quantique nationale du Canada (SQN) : permettre au gouvernement du Canada et aux industries-clés de développer et d’adopter rapidement les nouvelles technologies de détection quantique.
