This week, we announced that Michael Graham, Executive Vice President, and Global Head of Private Equity, will retire from OMERS, effective February 2025 at which time he will remain connected to the business as a Senior Advisor. For over two decades, Michael has played a significant role in shaping our private equity business, team, and culture. As we begin a new chapter, responsibility of the private equity business will be divided at the strategy level and transition to Eric Haley and Michael Block. Under this new direction, Eric Haley’s title will change to Head of Private Equity, Buyout and he will lead the buyout strategy and teams. Michael Block will take on an expanded mandate, leading a new group which will be named Private Capital, and his title will now be Head of Private Capital. His portfolio includes oversight across our Ventures, Growth, Green Tech, Life Sciences, European and Asia-Pacific private equity, as well as the development and execution of the new global funds strategy. A big thank you to Michael Graham for his outstanding leadership and service to our more than 600,000 members and congratulations to Eric Haley and Michael Block on their new roles!

150 kits. 200 newborn hats. 1 proud team. Keeping with our #CommunityDays tradition, we recently welcomed New York Cares for a volunteer event at our office. Our team came together to assemble 150 baby essentials kits and made nearly 200 hats for newborns, all in support of Little Essentials. We are proud to support these great organizations that are making a significant impact in communities across the city!

Golf is more than just a game – it can be a powerful business tool that offers players an opportunity to build strong relationships outside the office. And Summer Swing was more than just a social – it was an opportunity for women across the organization to come together to enhance their golf skills, whether a beginner or a seasoned player. Let the #CommunityDays begin! Last week, about 30 members of our team spent back-to-back afternoons feeding it forward by cooking a three-course meal for the residents of Interval House. Although a small gesture on our part, we hope the meals provided comfort to families who are working to rebuild their lives. Thank you to everyone who participated – we look forward to supporting our communities further with upcoming volunteer events in New York and London.

At a recent event hosted by Barclays, our own Dmitry Y. spoke on a panel led by Daniel Hanna, that explored the complexities and opportunities of moving away from fossil fuels toward renewable energy sources. The conversation highlighted the urgency of the transition, some of the innovative solutions being pursued and underscored the need for private and public partnership to support the delivery of decarbonization to achieve a cleaner and sustainable world.
