✈️ Had an incredible experience being part of the tech showcase at Downsview Aerospace Innovation & Research (DAIR)‘s DAIR To Innovate Conference last week with Laura Clark, and Sidhant Sakhuja. It was great to learn about the exciting opportunities that exist within Ontario’s aerospace manufacturing sector. Aerospace has always been at the forefront of #manufacturing #innovation, and the Ontario Centre of Innovation’s #CriticalIndustrialTechnologies initiative is positioned to play a vital role in accelerating this progress. By supporting the development, commercialization, and adoption of cutting-edge technologies like #AI, #robotics, and #5G, we’re paving the way for the future of manufacturing. Looking forward to seeing even more collaboration between the aerospace industry and #CIT as we work together to strengthen and grow manufacturing here in #Ontario ✈️

It was great to connect with leaders and discuss ways to drive #innovation in Ontario’s #advanced #manufacturing sector at the launch of the Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Working Group for Tech Canada Advocates. Congratulations to Karima-Catherine Goundiam and the B2BeeMatch team for spearheading this important initiative. In partnership with The British Canadian Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Gowling WLG, the event gathered industry and government stakeholders to explore strategies for sector growth and strengthen #Canada 🇨🇦 #UK 🇬🇧 collaboration. A key focus was on supporting #SMEs in digitalizing their operations to accelerate #innovation—a vital step for the future of manufacturing. Insights from speakers like the Honourable Victor Fedeli, British Consul General Fouzia Younis, Natasha Gagnon from the Ontario Aerospace Council, Jeff Nelson from Nelson Industrial Inc. and Karima herself contributed to a vibrant and dynamic discussion.
