Collegiate esports may have a smaller Total Addressable Market (TAM) than the professional scene, but its growth tells a different story. Could collegiate esports be the key to long-term stability that the professional scene struggles to maintain? Despite facing hurdles, college esports programs are growing steadily, showing positive momentum ("Green months") that even some professional organizations can't match. What's driving this? It's the focus on community, student development, and sustainable talent investment, which often gets overshadowed in the fast-paced world of pro esports. The number of schools getting involved continues to rise, and with it, their success. The question is: Could collegiate esports surpass the professional scene in terms of stability and influence?
