Ahead of our Women in Tech Event this week, we spend a few moments with our Marketing and Communications Director, Andreea Cojocaru ☁️. Andreea, what does a typical day at OVHcloud look like for you? > Marketing is such a dynamic function that no day is the same; I might have a day of strategy workshops with the team, be looking at the performance of a marketing initiative, or hands-on at an event – but usually I’m in back-to-back meetings handling multiple topics as once. In the afternoon, things can get a little quieter and I start to get back to people’s emails and questions. Right now for example, a lot of my focus is around our Women in Tech event on the 6th March! Did you have any favourite role models when you were growing up? > My mum works at Orange, so from an early age I had a great role model who showed me how interesting the tech world could be. What did you do before this? > Before OVHcloud, I worked in marketing for a cable company as their digital and social media manager. Thanks Andreea. 🚀 OVHcloud filed over 100 Patents in Data Center Cooling Innovation! 💧 Cooling is at the heart of modern data centers. It participates in optimizing energy efficiency and enables the next generation of infrastructure and at OVHcloud, we have been pioneering water-cooling technology since 2003. In FY24, OVHcloud spent 15% of its revenue in R&D budget and today we are proud to announce we have filed patents pertaining to cooling in over 100 different families! ✨ This milestone is a testimony to the dedication of our R&D-Cooling team, driving efficient and #sustainable cloud solutions with the best performance-price ratio.   Optimizing cooling is key to: ✅ Reduce datacenter energy consumption and improve infrastructure efficiency. ✅ Lower datacenter carbon footprint: a major challenge amid growing environmental concerns. ✅ Ensure performance and reliability by maintaining optimal thermal conditions. ✅ Support architectural evolution through more efficient datacenters with higher density.   More recently, we introduced Hybrid Immersion Liquid Cooling technology, an innovative solution that combines the benefits of water cooling and liquid immersion. This solution enables up to a 20.7% reduction in cooling infrastructure power consumption compared to our previous solutions. It is covered by 31 different families of patents and pending.   Thanks to our R&D-Cooling and Intellectual Property teams for this milestone, highlighting our commitment to a more sustainable cloud. 🌳#OneTeam

OVHcloud unveils the finalists of the Fast Forward AI Accelerator and new workshops led by AMD 🚀 As part of its commitment to supporting the ecosystem, OVHcloud has launched its first program dedicated to #AI startups. Through the new Fast Forward AI Accelerator, OVHcloud provides AI-driven startups with the resources they need to accelerate growth and enhance value creation—now enriched with new workshops powered by AMD.
