Dear Gartner, I have lots of questions about your latest Security Operations Hype Cycle. First of all, kudos for having a dedicated section on Continuous Threat Exposure Management, where Parabellyx Cybersecurity CPT platform plays. However, it's buried in the depth of the paper and not represented on the Hype Cycle curve. I assume it would be somewhat below the tratidional Threat Exposure Management, but given the contents of that section, it should be following it fairly closely. Secondly, I don't understand, the decision to declare #SOAR as DOA. Yes, SOAR is hard to implement given the need to run the program much like DevOps. And true enough the expetise required was never fully developed, at least not within SOC. However, given the rise of use of LLMs and natural language as part of security operations, don't you think that would revitalize SOAR and make it easier to use, perhaps even taking it beyond enterprise. Anton Chuvakin, given your expertise on the subject, really interested to hear your opinion on the new Gartner direction on SOAR.

What a great point. Parabellyx is developing several tools that are "human agumented" to help prioritize remediation, put vulnerabilities in context and eliminate the confusion that comes from long lists of vulnerabilities. Parabellyx CAST (DevSecOps tooling) and CPT (External Attack Surface/Vulnerability Management) are both technologies that take this as a core value.
