It's crucial to distinguish between the dedicated educators who work tirelessly for our children and the often, rigid systems that resist necessary change. Teachers, Child and Youth Workers and Educational Assistants are the backbone of our education system, showing up every day to guide students through their academic and personal challenges. They are often the first to notice when a student is struggling and play a pivotal role in their development. However, it's disheartening to see that their efforts are sometimes undermined by school boards that are unwilling to embrace innovative programs that could significantly benefit students.
