    Most financial professionals thinking of selling their firm don’t have their business affairs in order. This leads to: • Slower deal timelines • Lower valuations  • Fewer offers So if you’re considering an exit, take the time to prepare upfront. Here’s how to position your financial practice for the best possible deal: 1. Clean up your financials Buyers will want a clear picture of your profitability and cash flow. Having clean, complete documentation builds trust and fast-tracks due diligence.  2. Diversify your client base A concentrated client base can be a red flag to buyers. They are looking for a steady, predictable income stream from a diverse client base. 3. Strengthen your team Build a capable, experienced team to reassure buyers that the business will thrive without you. 4. Upgrade your tech stack Outdated tech tools are a deal-breaker.
