Today, we unveil our new marketing campaign, “Mask Off.” Our #marketing efforts over the past year have been made with the goal of erasing the stigma that people who have loved ones struggling with addictions may feel, and that goal will always inform part of our marketing efforts. But with the “Mask Off” campaign, we pivot towards growth. We want more people attending more meetings in more places, and placing more calls to our toll-free support line. We know there is a felt need for Family Recovery across #Alberta which is only growing, and PEP needs to grow along with it. This concept revolves around the felt experience of people affected by a loved one's struggle with addiction. It uses a double exposure effect to show how someone might look happy on the outside while struggling on the inside. It’s okay to struggle, but we need to face it. It’s time to take the mask off. The aim is to help people relate to these experiences, encourage asking for help, and let people know that, if they have a loved one struggling with addiction, there is support for you too. #WeDoRecover #RecoveryAB #RecoveryWorks #addictionsandrecovery #FamilyRecovery #StrongerTogether #PEPSociety #RecoveryWorks #AddictionRecovery #nonprofit #addiction #recovery #yegnonprofit #yeglocal #yegcharities #yegcharity #addictionawareness #advertising #marketingcampaign #graphicdesign #yeg #alberta

In a powerful analogy, PEP founder Tina Dow shares a story about a man saving starfish by tossing them back into the ocean, one at a time. When questioned about the impact of his efforts, the man simply said, 'It makes a difference to the ones I save.' Tina reflects on this as a message of hope for families facing addiction—reminding us that even helping one family at a time can make a world of difference. PEP is here to support you and your family. Reach out and attend a meeting to start your journey toward recovery together. #RecoveryAB #RecoveryWorks #PEPSociety #FamilyRecovery
