First Electric Truck Deliveries in collaboration with Tolko Industries, Nortrans Freight Management, and Peterbilt Pacific : a #Peterbilt 579 EV #electric #truck hauling #forest finished product in Southern Interior BC. This operational study is conducted by FPInnovations as part of ongoing testing and awareness efforts to support the forest sector reduce #GHG emissions. The insights, data, and feedback gathered will help determine the potential, limitations, and necessary adaptation efforts for the successful implementation of #BEVs in the forest industry. Replacing a conventional truck with a #battery electric truck in this operation could save 900 tonnes of GHG emissions annually, which is equivalent to removing 200 cars from the road. We are supporting #forestindustry and #transportation sector in creating green corridors to meet Canada's #decarbonization goal. *** Premières livraisons de camions électriques en collaboration avec Tolko Industries, Nortrans Freight Management et Peterbilt Pacific : un #camion #électrique #Peterbilt 579 EV transportant des #produits forestiers finis dans la région intérieure sud de la Colombie-Britannique. Meet Brandon Maidment, Our New Kelowna Service Manager! We’re excited to introduce Brandon, who brings a wealth of experience in Service Management and extensive local industry knowledge to our Kelowna branch. Born and raised in Prince George, Brandon's passion for mechanics started early on, back in high school shop class where fixing 4x4s after a weekend of off-roading was a regular thing! When he's not ensuring top-notch service at work, you'll find Brandon outdoors with his wife and two boys, riding quads, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or cruising the lakes on a boat.
