Meet the Team at Pro Metal Industries! 👋🔧 Phil Ursulescu - Machine Shop Supervisor Phil joined Pro Metal Industries on March 4, 2024, bringing with him an impressive 31 years of machining experience, including 18 years of instructing in post-secondary education. His extensive background and expertise make him a valuable addition to our team, ensuring the highest standards in our machine shop operations. Outside of work, Phil is actively involved in Skills Canada, planning competitions for computer numerically controlled machinery. He also dedicates time to teaching 3D printing, design, and Arduino coding classes at the Digital Media Lab at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Center. When he’s not busy with work or teaching, Phil enjoys spending quality time with his wife, particularly on motorcycle trips during the summer. 🌿 Seven Stars Energy Project Launch! 🌿 We are excited to announce our involvement in the Seven Stars Energy Project, a major wind power initiative in Saskatchewan. This partnership with Enbridge, 5 First Nations and the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan is a significant step in sustainable energy and economic reconciliation. The project is located in Southern Saskatchewan and will produce 200 MW of emissions-free power, enough to support the annual energy needs of more than 100,000 Saskatchewan homes. The 7 partners include Enbridge, Pasqua First Nation, Cowessess First Nation, George Gordon First Nation, Kahkewistahaw First Nation, White Bear First Nations and the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan. After all annual project operating expenses, the financial model forecasts a material net cash flow for all partners. Chief Matthew T.
