The signing by Prudential Financial of its MOU with Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. and the announcement of a second transaction with Prismic Life Re are important indications of the momentum building within our multi-asset business, PGIM Multi-Asset Solutions (PMA). A big factor in the business's growth is the capital allocations being made by insurers which is leading to significant, structural flows particularly into private asset classes and areas of structured finance like asset-backed finance. It's an underappreciated fact that a large amount of the growth that these asset classes are experiencing is due to this wall of capital coming from insurers. The PMA team has the advantage of deep expertise in liabilities and the ability to draw on a set of investment capabilities within PGIM that strongly align with the asset classes where insurers want to allocate capital.
