The Polygon Team is back from Portland !
Back from a four-day marathon with Yan Kestens and Alexandre Naud at the Evaluation 24 (American Evaluation Association) conference in Portland, and what an experience it was! Our hands-on workshop saw more than 160 participants engaging in concept mapping simultaneously, with engaging questions and insightful discussions following the exercise. We were thrilled to welcome many visitors to our (orange!) booth throughout the conference, reaffirming the value of Group Concept Mapping at every stage of the evaluation process. If you haven’t yet signed up to receive more updates on concept mapping (and our other tools), feel free to do so here https://lnkd.in/eDbJUUa4! Thanks to American Evaluation Association for the excellent organization and to the amazing Oregon Convention Center staff who were always on hand to help! #Eval24 #conceptmapping #groupconceptmapping #conceptmappingforevaluation

We are going to Portland! Are you? The Polygon team is excited to be attending the annual American Evaluation Association conference in Portland next week! Amplifying and Empowering Voices with Concept Mapping: A Hands-on Workshop Join Yan Kestens and Alexandre Naud, Université de Montréal for a skill-building workshop on Wednesday, October, 23, 2024 at 4:15 p.m. If you are attending this workshop or are simply curious about the concept mapping process, we invite you to sort and rate ideas related to this year's conference theme of empowering voices. To participate, click here ✨👇 : https://lnkd.in/enr5g5yq This workshop will provide a great opportunity to discuss the concept mapping process and to see how the generated data is transformed into compelling visualizations using clustering algorithms and dimensionality reduction techniques. Throughout the session, we will explore maps with different levels of clustering and discuss key performance indicators. Together, we will interpret the resulting map, replicating the process of a real Group Concept Mapping exercise. #Eval2024 #conceptmapping #groupconceptmapping #conceptmappingforevaluation
