Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) is a geotechnical engineering method that involves pushing a cone penetrometer into the ground. The cone is pushed at a steady rate so it can interpret the soil’s strength and resistance, deformation characteristics, and suitability for construction. CPT drilling allows for minimal disturbance to the site and it very effective and accurate in it’s soil assessments.
