Congratulations to Thuvaraha on her outstanding achievements! We take pride in celebrating success, and we're thrilled to have talented individuals like her on our team 🎉
Exciting news to share! Last week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the ACRM | American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s 100th annual conference in Atlanta, where I not only presented my research but also had the honor of being awarded 1st place in the overall poster competition! I presented results on the use of Health Equity Impact Assessments (HEIA) in the implementation of a free assistive technologies marketplace and information hub for individuals with disabilities, known as Possibilities Project Plus. This was an amazing opportunity to share with everyone the importance of being intentional with considerations for equity in programs and projects while highlighting the meaningful work Possibilities Project Plus does. If you're interested in learning more about this initiative, please visit our website https://lnkd.in/gw68fvtV ! I also want to express my deepest gratitude to my incredible team and mentors at St. Joseph's Health Care London and Lawson Health Research Institute! Without their support, this achievement wouldn't have been possible. Here's to more meaningful collaborations and impactful initiatives in the future! #ACRM2023 #HealthEquity #PossibilitiesProjectPlus
