As a proud sponsor of the Airport Management Council of Ontario (AMCO) Airport is Asking program, we’re on a quest to finding answers to the questions you’ve been asking. An airport would like to know the following questions: 1. If any other small to medium airports require an Environmental Compliance Approval to be compliant with the Ontario Water Resources Act? This would be valuable to know both for airports that offer de-icing services and those that don’t. 2. An airport recently took delivery of a GM ¾ ton to be used for runway inspection. With their last unit, they were able to disable antiskid for friction testing. After speaking with the dealership, they have been advised that they cannot disable the antiskid (ABS). New modules have multiple systems and pulling a fuse will affect these other systems. The airport would like to know if anyone has a new vehicle and if so, how did you set it up for braking tests? Un aéroport aimerait connaître les questions suivantes : 1. D'autres aéroports de petite ou moyenne taille ont-ils besoin d'une autorisation de conformité environnementale pour être conformes à la Loi sur les ressources en eau de l'Ontario ? Cela serait utile à la fois pour les aéroports qui offrent des services de dégivrage et pour ceux qui n'en offrent pas. 2. Un aéroport a récemment pris livraison d'un camion GM ¾ tonne destiné à l'inspection des pistes. Avec leur dernière unité, ils ont pu désactiver l'antidérapage pour les tests de friction. Après avoir parlé avec le concessionnaire, ils ont été informés qu'ils ne pouvaient pas désactiver l'antidérapage (ABS). Les nouveaux modules ont plusieurs systèmes et le retrait d'un fusible affectera ces autres systèmes. L'aéroport aimerait savoir si quelqu'un possède un nouveau véhicule et si oui, comment l'avez-vous configuré pour les tests de freinage ?
