It’s Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace. That is the theme of this years World Mental Health Day. Here at Prince of Travel we have several resources that contribute to prioritizing the mental health of our employees. We thought on this #WorldMentalHealthDay we would highlight some of what we do for our employees: -Flexible work hours policy -Generous PTO policy that includes Time in Lieu -Insurance plan with Teladoc Health which has a Mental Health Navigator giving our Prince of Travel employees access to expert mental health guidance and support. We also felt it important to share that we have adopted a 360-degree written performance review system that enhances our employees mental health by providing balanced feedback through manager assessments and self-reviews. Our Culture Committee plays a crucial role in supporting our employees mental health by regularly engaging our team with fun activities and in person events. They also ensure that our DEI initiatives are focused on providing support and educational resources to our employees. We actively celebrate our team members successes and wins on our socials including here on our LinkedIn page and across internal company channels. Even though we are a fully remote company, our “Break Bread” benefit allows all team members to share a meal on us whenever possible to encourage regular in person meet ups! Our “Travel Rebate” allows all team members the opportunity to receive $600 semi annually for any travel related expense such as plane tickets or hotel stays allowing our employees to travel and experience new sights. We are consistently offering leadership development to our senior staff to help them develop their skills and improve communication to ensure they can effectively create safe spaces for their teams to voice any concerns in confidence. As you can see, mental health in the workplace is a top priority at Prince of Travel not just on this World Mental Health Day, but everyday.

Queeny brings a wealth of design experience to the team as well as a passion for creating outstanding pictures and concepts. It's always nice to kick-start the week by introducing a new member of our growing Prince of Travel team. Ousmane joins us as a Senior Software Engineer and he will no doubt be a talented addition to our development team. Ousmane was born in Dakar, Senegal but has lived in New Jersey for the most of his life. In his spare time Ousmane enjoys playing a little basketball, and filling up on one of his favourite snacks, Senegalese Nem, which is inspired by Vietnamese spring rolls. Welcome to the team Ousmane!

Meet Nancy, a designated travel advisor with Prince Collection, our in-house travel agency and luxury travel concierge service. Nancy helps clients find the best properties and deals, handling all booking details while acting as a liaison with the hotel until guests arrive. Nancy’s love for travel inspired her to learn the ins and outs of miles & points and hotel preferred partner programs, allowing her to explore more destinations with her family while saving money. (side note, Nancy admits her daughter likely has the most business class flights for her age under her belt 🙂 ✈️ ) Nancy says working on the travel agency side of things allows her to share her knowledge and inspire clients to see more of the world, something she also aspires to do more of with her family. #teammembertuesday

The only thing better than a Team Member Tuesday post is a Team Member Tuesday x two post! That's exactly what we're doing today as we shine the spotlight on Steve and Chris, who are both celebrating their one-year anniversaries at Prince of Travel this week. Steve Campagna is a Community Manager and Consultant with us. He took the time during Covid to, as he says "level up his miles and points game" and well... there's been no turning back for Steve. Congrats on your one year at Prince of Travel. Also marking one year with the company is Chris Leung, a Community Manager in our social media department. You might recognize Chris from our Prince of Travel Instagram page where he's busy creating content and keeping followers engaged in the world of travel, miles and points. (if you don't already be sure to give us a follow on Instagram) Congrats on your one year Chris!

Strong leadership and management is essential in all companies and it's something Prince of Travel places a big emphasis on. Not only does it lead to improved communication among employees, but it helps create a better work environment and improves productivity. After collaborating with our Leadership and Management Team, we're excited to formally welcome Miranda Li, as our newest team member, who joins us as our Leadership & Organizational Development Consultant. Miranda, or Mir as she likes to be referred to, is focused on fostering authentic relationships, leadership development, and healthy communication in the workplace. Welcome to the team Mir!

He's a self described writer at heart and a marketer in his head. He's Matt Turner, our Director of Content at Prince of Travel and it just so happened to be Matt's birthday Monday, so Happy Birthday Matt!
