🌟 Big Mountain Foods Launched at Costco Wholesale Canada today!!!! 🌟 Tonight, as I look at these photos, I still can’t keep up with how fast this all happened – from our first presentation on September 4, 2024, to landing our new holiday roast in Costco Canada warehouses by October 28, 2024. None of us expected this would be a “this season” decision, but we committed, and here we are, ready for the holidays! 🎄 A huge, heartfelt shoutout to our mighty team at Big Mountain Foods, who poured every ounce of dedication into hand-rolling each roast with love. Every step of this journey has been new territory, from our first presentation to scaling up production faster than we ever have before. This launch is truly a dream come true, and it’s checked a major bucket list item for all of us! Now, we need your support ❤️❤️Over the next month, please consider purchasing our holiday roast at Costco to help us make this a lasting success 🍾 You can find us at these Costco Canada locations: Ontario: 📍 Brampton 📍 Mississauga 📍 Vaughan 📍 Pointe Claire 📍 Gloucester Western Canada: 📍 Richmond 📍 Calgary 📍 Port Coquitlam 📍 Langley 📍 Edmonton 📍 Burnaby 📍 Vancouver 📍 Okotoks 📍 West Edmonton 📍 St. Albert 📍 Nisku 📍 Tsuutina 📍 Kelowna Much love always, Jasmine and Kimberly Chamberland

🍃 Exciting Times at the NIZO Plant Protein Functionality Conference! 🍃 After almost five years since living in the Netherlands it was great to be back and participate in the 3rd NIZO Plant Protein Functionality Conference. It was inspiring to see the advancements being made at the intersection of academia and industry in the plant-based food sector. Here are a few of my takeaways from the conference: ✨ Opportunities for Improvement: Taste, texture, and functionality challenges in plant-based products present significant opportunities, especially in categories like vegan cheeses, milk alternatives and meat analogues. ✨ No One-Size-Fits-All: Techno-functionality varies widely based on protein source, processing methods, and intended applications. Custom solutions are essential for success. ✨ Innovative Protein Extraction: Exciting advancements are being made in by-product protein extraction, including okara protein and green leaf protein, which can lead to more sustainable practices. ✨ AI in Functionality Prediction: Could AI help predict the functionality of proteins that have undergone different extraction processes? This could revolutionize product development in our field! As several presenters highlighted, the challenges in the plant protein space also create abundant opportunities for innovation and growth. I’m excited to see where these developments will take us! Thank you Protein Industries Canada for the incredible opportunity to attend this event and for the engaging conversations with all the attendees—your insights were truly inspiring. #PlantBased #Innovation #Sustainability #FoodTech #ProteinFunctionality #NIZOConference
