Founded in 2010 by Inez Cook and Remi Caudron, Salmon N' Bannock embodies the spirit of gathering and honoring Indigenous culinary heritage. Inez is now the sole owner as of 2019. Salmon n' Bannock is Vancouver’s only indigenous restaurant proudly serving wild salmon and free range organic game meats. Situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, Salmon N' Bannock proudly celebrates its Indigenous roots.
