About us
reGEN impact media seeks to unlock the potential that lies at the intersection of media with vision, well-being, and human agency. We are an Indigenous-owned and female-led organization attracting investment to the emerging sector of regenerative media, building new market opportunities, and cultivating deal origination through a media-tech showcase platform (in development). ✅ We believe in the importance of diversifying the funding streams available. ✅ We believe in bravely exploring inclusively innovative pathways to increase access, opportunities, and sustainability for historically underrecognized storytellers. ✅ We believe that purpose-led, impact-driven brands, forward-thinking philanthropists, and progressive impact investors seeking upstream solutions will meet us here! BRANDS: Advertising is ripe for change, and we're inviting bold brands and progressive organizations to be on the leading edge of a next-wave industry shift. External engagement investment decisions directly reflect how we define our organization's worth and what we most value. Our relational approach in impact media portfolio development takes advertising to a whole new level. IMPACT INVESTORS: We are currently fundraising! Please connect with us to discuss our approach to this relational raise round. STORYTELLERS & INDUSTRY ALLIES: We invite and encourage connection. Our constellation of partners is growing consistently stronger!

MY HUNGRY SOUL | #throwbackthursday - "You just gotta keep walking and trusting and walking and trusting, and then you hit fifty, and you go, “I’m at the midway point.” [laughs] And I look back, and now I can see the thread — I can see the thread of how one step led to the next. One opportunity prepared me for the next as I was ready for it. So that’s what I always try to share with younger women: your job is to walk, to faith-walk. And that is the experience of life. That is actually why we’re here. It’s to experience that faith-walk." Today, with gratitude, I say goodbye to one of my very best friends, my Soul Mate and Spirit Guide. Miss Z is being retired this week, returning home to her mother. Many, many memories and emotions. She has helped me to heal and prepare for so much. Forever grateful. Forever. WHAT GETS YOU UP IN THE MORNING? Is it Hope? Possibility? Positive Anticipation? We are living in the center of an adventure. A story of highs and lows, lessons and learnings, memories and misshaps. The messaging we ingest daily matters; from the news we watch, the stories we scroll, and the constant media in our periphery. Our phones are here to stay, so let’s learn to use them, for good. Like the food we eat, the media we consume shapes our adventure. As an athlete, performance coach, founder, impact visionary, and politician leader, I’ve witnessed first hand - transformative opportunities - and gaps. I'm eager to get up every morning and play into What's Possible with #MoreFromMedia. We track sleep, activity, and nutrition—now it’s time to track our media and elevate our wellness habits - better media, better lives. What to play? morefrommedia.com

What did your Bridge-to-Better look like this week? I was asked to reflect on what my work *looks* like in a given week. 52 weeks a year. What does your work in the world look like, and where are you placing your prioritizes and focus? Here's mine this week: 🌉 Facilitation: I had the pleasure of working with a regional team and hosting an Impact Visioning Circle and Team-Cohesion Building Session. 🌉 Peer-to-Peer Co-Learning: I kicked off our first Coralus Pod session in regenerative media. 🌉 Research/Fundraising: Met with our research advisor to move a large innovation funding application forward to support the next steps of our reGEN Impact Media vision and framework. 🌉 In-Person Experiences & Impact-Narrative Development: Last planning session for a gathering next week with a team of climate resiliency researchers. 🌉 Impact-First Storytelling: Part of our team was on the ground back East this week to witness a story unfolding. We move into next steps this week in our process. 🌉 Story of Us - Impact Amplification in Regenerative Media: We are putting the final touches on our Fall 2024 issue. 🌉 Building Relations: Met again this week with a colleague I've know for years and have the utmost respect for. Listening for impact intersections and opportunities to collaborate. 🌉 Next Gen Storytelling & Cirriculum-Building: Met with my online learning advisor and mapped out Course #1 in Impact-First Storytelling in Regenerative Media. 🌉 Filled My Cup: Grateful to be part of the Mosaic Accelerator with a wonderful group of Founders to reflect and close my week with intentionality. If you haven't yet subscribed to our digital mag, you can do so here. Welcome to the journey! https://lnkd.in/gQNbgJVp

As we pay more attention to the ways in which we are the same, and the commonalities that unite us, perhaps then we can expand our ability to learn from each other, understand our differences, and hold a deeper respect for each other. Thank you to father and filmmaker, Vije Bhatia, for championing this impact media special series. COMING HOME to the Rhythm of YOU! As we enter into the final season of 2024, I invite you to set some intentionality and decide how you wish to close this year in a good way. PULL ON THE THREAD of your life experience and reconnect with the pieces of yourself that wanted fuller expression as the year began ~ your creativity, physicality, prosperity, and purpose. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month of teaching, co-learning, and sharing, starting today with my Indigenous mentor, teacher, and friend as we hold circle with a provincial organization. Healing happens one intentional circle at a time. 🌽OCTOBER is a month of harvest, fruition, completion, gratitude. October is a month of returning home to my home territory where I'll have the opportunity to connect, share, and co-learn with women of my Nation. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month where I'll support a container and co-create an experience that works towards shifting a narrative from 'climate crisis' to 'climate resiliency'. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month where I begin to hold circle to build relationships and co-learning between Indigenous founders & entrepreneurs and those who want to work towards shifting more private capital into their work in a way that matches their rhythm and needs. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month when we begin to work on a short film in partnership with a foundation that partners with incredible Indigenous groups to promote peer-to-peer learning and empower individuals, both locally and globally. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month where we have the honour of celebrating Indigenous Innovators and amplifying their impact in the world. 🌽 OCTOBER is a month where I will hold circle, an Impact Visioning Circle, with a group of regional economic development professionals who are ready to embody MORE of what's possible in a good way and build more cohesion and clarity to execute most effectively on what matters most. 🌽 HOW are you stepping into this month and this quarter? 🌽 WHO do you intend to BE throughout the next 90 days that brings this year to an intentional close? 🌽 WHAT might be possible that is just beyond your periphery at this time? 🌽 WHEN are you prioritizing to take action on the things you SAY are important to you? 🌽 WHERE will you be by the end of 2024, and what will you be celebrating. I'll celebrate with you!
