Peel Region is proud to announce that residents of the Peel Manor Long Term Care Centre on Main Street North in Brampton will move into their new home today at the Seniors Health and Wellness Village at Peel Manor, and Peel Manor Adult Day Services client operations will launch from the new centre beginning Thursday, November 7. Honoured as Advantage Ontario’s 2024 Innovation and Excellence Capital Project Award, the Seniors Health and Wellness Village at Peel Manor includes both an exceptional Long Term Care Centre and a service hub designed to support the needs of seniors and their caregivers living in the broader community. It is built on the site of the original Peel Manor, which evolved from the County of Peel House of Industry and Refuge that originally housed 12 people and was built in 1898.
