Lucie Gets a Michelin Nod! What an honour it is that Restaurant Lucie has received a recommendation in Toronto's 2024 Michelin Guide! As a French native who’s been in the restaurant game for 25 years, running a fine-dining concept like Lucie outside of France is a dream come true—and getting recognized by Michelin is nothing short of huge. It’s a humbling moment and a tremendous nudge for Chef Arnaud Bloquel, GM Yoann Beaubouchez and our entire team to keep pushing forward. For us, getting a Michelin star isn't the ultimate goal - it's the pursuit of it that drives us to be better every day. Crafting an intricate concept like Lucie in a City that is still recovering from COVID-19 and suffering from huge issues like road construction projects has its challenges, but with this team of French expats who were still working in France just 15 months ago, it's been nothing short of a feast of dedication, passion, and endless hard work. I sincerely congratulate every restaurant that got recognized this year and in particular the restaurants that achieved the almost impossible task of gaining or maintaining their "Star" status. Magnifique!!! This journey is incredibly intimate because Lucie was named after my late grandmother. Seeing the restaurant flourish is not just about culinary success; it's about honouring her memory and values. I couldn’t be prouder of our team, and I'm so excited to see Lucie continue to grow into a place of true culinary greatness.
