We’re excited to announce that our collaborative work with the Toronto Memory Program and community partners is now featured as a case study on the Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative Blueprint website! 🎉 This project focused on improving early Alzheimer’s disease detection in accessible, community-based settings by leveraging RetiSpec’s AI-driven retinal imaging in Optometry settings and cognitive assessments by social workers at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Kevin Nickels, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Kevin played a pivotal role in RetiSpec’s journey during our early days, helping us navigate a key licensing agreement with the University of Minnesota. His guidance, resilience, and commitment left a lasting impact on our team, for which we will always be grateful. Kevin’s work with young entrepreneurs, even throughout his illness, speaks volumes about his character and dedication. He will be missed both professionally and personally by so many, including all of us here at RetiSpec.
