NEW JOB ALERT 💥 INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT Our client, an expanding small public accounting firm in Cochrane is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to add to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a small to mid-sized firm, demonstrate a strong work ethic with punctuality and high productivity, and possess a willingness to learn and grow. Instinctively resourceful and a strong problem solver, you will work closely with clients, in person and virtually, as well as all levels of the team to develop your technical skills and get immersed in their workflow procedures and standards. As the firm and your skillset grow, there are opportunities for upward movement and continual advancement. As a dedicated professional, you have worked with QuickBooks, and other bookkeeping software programs, including CaseWare; and offer experience with CRA audits along with the expertise to communicate directly with CRA, addressing client questions and resolving any issues that arise. Additionally, you bring experience with GST and T4 filing. Payroll experience would be an asset. This is an in-office role. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity to discuss a hybrid model potentially, but that conversation wouldn’t happen for at least 6 months as you get up to speed with their clients and the team.
