RMHC across Canada is committed to meeting the growing and evolving needs of the communities it proudly serves. Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of the 19th RMHC Family Room program in Canada. We're proud to share that Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario, in partnership with Niagara Health, has opened a new Family Room at the Marotta Family Hospital in St. Catharine! This new space will provide families a non-medical environment right within the hospital walls where they can rest, nourish, and find a moment of respite so they can focus on what matters most; caring for their sick child. Congratulations Ronald McDonald House Charities South Central Ontario and Niagara Health!

Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada reposted this
Earlier this week, we celebrated a meaningful milestone, as RMHC Atlantic moved one step closer to serving even more families with sick children from across the Maritimes. Heartfelt congratulations to Lori Barker and the entire team who made this special day possible. Thank you, Sean Fraser, Andy Fillmore, Heath MacDonald, and Honourable Lena Metlege Diab,QC for supporting families through your investment in a beautiful new Ronald McDonald House in Halifax, opening soon!
Yesterday, the Government of Canada announced a nearly $3 million investment in our new Ronald McDonald House, set to open later this year. This investment from the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program ensures long-term sustainability and climate responsibility to serve RMHC Atlantic families and will be the world’s first net-zero carbon Ronald McDonald House! Thank you, @SeanFraserMP, @AndyFillmoreHFX, @Heath Macdonald, and @LenaMetlegeDiabNS for stopping by to make this historic announcement. #KeepingFamiliesClose First photo description: From left to right: Andy Fillmore, Sean Fraser, Lori Barker, Heath MacDonald, and Lena Metlege Diab, standing in the living room of our Halifax Ronald McDonald House. That’s because a portion of proceeds from every menu item sold all day at McDonald's in Canada supports RMHC and families with sick children across Canada. Order through the McDonald’s app, in restaurant, at the drive-thru, or through McDelivery to do some good for families in your community! #KeepingFamiliesClose

It was great to welcome the Hon. Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development of Canada to the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. We appreciated the opportunity to walk her and her team through the House’s facilities and showcase the many programs that truly make a Ronald McDonald House feel like home for so many families. What an exciting day at RMHC Toronto! We had the honour of welcoming Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children, and Social Development, on April 26! 🏠🌤️ Joined by RMHC Toronto CEO, Tania Little, and RMHC Canada President & CEO, Kate Horton, Minister Sudds explored our facilities and engaged with our community. From meeting with RMHC Toronto School principal, Katie Doering, to sharing a conversation with a mom staying at the House, she immersed herself in our mission of supporting families. We're grateful for her visit and commitment to making a difference in the lives of families with seriously ill children. #KeepingFamiliesClose #RMHCToronto
