Oliver Martin, Senior Director with Skift, shared global insights and trends in the tourism industry. Chantal Sweeting, Sr. manager, content & UX from Destination Ontario on building a better website experience. Plus, panel discussions on grants & funding opportunities and experiential tourism. Your presence, insightful discussions, engaging presentations, and valuable connections truly envision the future of tourism growth in our region. ADaPT For Black Youth Participant Info Session 📅September 19, 2024 🕛12 pm - 1 pm 📍Online 📝Register- https://lnkd.in/eyEBiXRj The program is designed for Black youth in Ontario, aged 15 to 29, with a focus on two primary outcomes: Employment: Enabling Black youth and young adults to pursue and succeed in a wide range of high-quality employment opportunities. Retention and Mobility: Supporting Black youth in retaining employment and advancing in their careers. The program offers sector-based training, work placement and employment support, as well as career advancement opportunities in various sectors, including ICT. Additionally, it provides employer and sector readiness support. The goal is to ensure that Black youth are empowered to find and maintain meaningful, safe, and dignified work that aligns with their skills, potential, and career goals. ADaPT For Black Youth Employer Info Session This program is designed to support Black youth in Ontario, aged 15 to 29, with a focus on two key outcomes: 📅Sept 12 🕛12 pm - 1 pm 📍Online 📝Register: https://lnkd.in/eFCsCCYy ☑️ Helping Black youth and young adults pursue and succeed in high-quality employment opportunities. ☑️Supporting Black youth in retaining employment and advancing in their careers. Participants in the program receive comprehensive digital, professional, and foundational training, mentorship, and wraparound support, equipping them to make meaningful contributions across industries. A key feature of the program is its ability to connect trained Black talent with businesses. An upcoming info session will provide details on how organizations can access up to $7,000 in subsidies, participate in custom hiring events and fairs, and take advantage of equity, diversity, and inclusion supports designed to help attract and retain diverse talent.
