About us
The RDN has shifted from facilitating research and connections to leveraging them into action. We tailor our services and supports to develop solutions alongside communities who don’t shy away from wicked problems: How can we solve homelessness in our town when our residents don’t believe it exists? How can we invite others to move here when we have 100+ families on the waitlist for affordable housing? How can we treat addictions when the nearest detox centre is a few hours away? How do we help newcomers in our community when we haven’t had the training? We’ve worked with the issues, understand their interconnection, and work with communities to create solutions that are tailored to what they need. 10 years, 4 office moves, 300+ community partnerships, 500+ completed projects, and 500,000+ combined hours of rural development later and we’re still committed to helping you make a difference.
