Our #TeamSask Chef de Mission Greg Perreaux spent the week in the City of St. John's connecting with colleagues from across the country at the M1 Conference. The 2025 Jeux du Canada Games Host Society is gearing up to stage an incredible Games, and we can't wait to spark greatness next summer 🔥

One month ago today, we gathered as a province in the City of Lloydminster to kick off seven days of sport, culture and competition at the 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games, presented by Teine Energy. Two historic medals in the first week of #Paris2024 for our amazing alumni 🔥 Congratulations to Rylan Wiens (2017 Canada Summer Games, Diving) on taking home Canada's first-ever bronze medal in the 10m Synchronized Platform Diving event, and Carissa Norsten (2018 Saskatchewan Winter Games, Hockey; 2022 Canada Summer Games, Rugby Sevens) on clinching silver in Women's Rugby Sevens, also a first for Team Canada! Wednesday's already off to an amazing start: nonstop competition in all nine first half sports, a bustling Athletes' Village gearing up for the arrivals of our second half participants, and setup taking place at Lakeland College Canada for this evening's Saskatchewan Summer Sounds, a free community festival and BBQ presented by Cenovus Energy. In just two days' time, the flame will be lit and the 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games, presented by Teine Energy, will officially begin! 🔥 🏅 🌾 After years of planning, the Host Organizing Committee, led by Co-Chairs Wendy Plandowski and Aaron Rawlake and supported by nearly 100 dedicated volunteers, is finally ready to welcome the entire province to City of Lloydminster . From July 21st through 27th, over 2,000 participants, more than 800 local volunteers, and upwards of 5,000 visitors will gather in the Border City to experience the provincial multi-sport event and celebrate seven days of sport, culture, and community.
