🧡 Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we at Saskatoon Open Door Society pause to honor the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the survivors, and the families left behind. 🧡 September 30, 2021, marked the first official observance of this day, which coincides with #OrangeShirtDay, originally founded in 2013 to spread awareness and commemorate the resilience of Indigenous communities. Join us in reflecting, listening, and learning. Start your journey by exploring the rich cultures, voices, and histories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Together, we can move toward healing and reconciliation. 🌾 #EveryChildMatters #TruthAndReconciliation #OrangeShirtDay #IndigenousVoices #SaskatoonOpenDoorSociety
