SaskTel, in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA), has launched Next Generation 911 (NG911) capabilities, making Saskatchewan the first province to transition all primary 911 communication centers to this advanced system. SaskTel International is ready to assist other telcos in implementing similar emergency response systems. By sharing our insights and best practices, we aim to enhance emergency response capabilities globally. Interested industry peers are welcome to reach out for more information.
We are pleased to have played an important role in helping #Saskatchewan become the first province in Canada to deploy a Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) environment at all the primary 9-1-1 communications centres in the province. With the NG9-1-1 environment in place, Saskatchewan’s emergency services now have the technological foundation that will allow for the deployment of more advanced tools and capabilities which, in the future, will make it easier to communicate and share important information with first responders during an emergency.
