How can we make civility cool again and relegate rampant rudeness to the past?
About us
Sasktoday.ca features Glacier Media’s Prairie News Group 12 publications in a single website covering local politics, news, business, opinion, sports and community events across several communities from northern, southern and central Saskatchewan. The company has reinvigorated 12 newsrooms across the province, connecting them digitally and with a collaborative goal to continue the time-honoured institute of local news reporting and providing advertising and marketing support to local businesses. As the story announcing our launch stated: “local news has always mattered. That’s never been so true as it is today as our world becomes an ever smaller place. Local events, happenings and stories of all kinds are impacted – and even evoked – by a larger world of current events and global occurrences, such as the historic pandemic we are still working our way through.” Publications include the Assiniboia Times, Battlefords News Optimist, Canora Courier, Carlyle Observer, Estevan Mercury, Humboldt Journal/East Central Recorder, Kamsack Times, Pipeline News, Preeceville Progress, The Outlook, Unity Wilke, Weyburn Review, Yorkton This Week, as well as reporters based in Regina and Saskatchewan, and coverage from our sister publication Moose Jaw Today/Moose Jaw Express.
