HRDP-SK has approved another project! University of Saskatchewan Assistant Professor Julie Kosteniuk will begin accessing research data through #HRDPSK to study health service utilization among people with dementia. Women make up 62% of people diagnosed with dementia in Canada, but to date there have been few studies on sex/gender differences in health service use of persons with dementia. This study seeks to understand the differing needs of men and women living with dementia in rural Saskatchewan, and how they use health care services. The results will help inform care delivery in Saskatchewan. @USaskCCRAH @RaDAR_Usask. Visit scpor.ca/hrdpsk to learn more about HRDP-SK.
